Libmanan is a municipality located in the province of Camarines Sur, Bicol Region. It is the largest town in Camarines Sur. The Bicol River snakes through the town of Libmanan. By Plane:

Cebu Pacific and Air Philippines have several daily flights to Naga Airport, which is locally known in Bicol as Pili Airport. From Naga Airport, located in the town of Pili, you can ride a bus or a taxi bound for Naga City. The city is about 10 to 20 minutes ride from the airport. The bus fare from Pili to Naga City is 15 pesos. And then from Naga City, go to the bus terminal and then ride a bus bound for Libmanan or Cabusao. You can also ride a bus bound for Daet but be sure to get off at the junction going to Libmanan town proper which is about 10 to 20 minutes ride from the Maharlika Highway. You can also ride a jeepney or a van at the terminal near the LCC Mall located at Barangay Sabang. The travel time from Naga to Libmanan is 45 minutes to an hour.

By Bus:

From Manila, there are several buses bound to Bicol region. Ride a bus that is bound for Naga City or Legazpi City and then tell the driver to drop you off at the junction going to Libmanan town proper. And then from the junction, ride a tricycle or a jeepney going to the town proper. The usual travel time from Metro Manila to Libmanan junction is 8 to 10 hours. The travel time from Libmanan junction to Libmanan town proper is 10 to 20 minutes. By Train:

The PNR has a regular train schedule for the Manila-Ligao City route. The train departs at Tutuban Station in Manila every 6pm and 8:30pm and arrives at Ligao City at around 6am the next day. Ride the train and get off at PNR Libmanan Station. The last station is Ligao City station which is 3 hours away from Libmanan so be sure to get off at Libmanan station. The usual travel time is 10 to 12 hours.

Sorsogon City, Sorsogon Province

Sorsogon City is located in the Bicol Region. It is the capital city of the province of Sorsogon and the main business center of the province. The city of Sorsogon was created when the town of Bacon and Sorsogon were merged.  Sorsogon City is the largest city in Bicol Region in terms of land area. One of the main products in Sorsogon City is Pili Nuts. You can also find a lot of Baluko sellers near the baywalk in Sorsogon. Baluko is a kind of seafood somewhat related to scallops but it is much larger than a scallops.

Guinobatan, Albay

The town of Guinobatan is located in Albay province, Bicol Region. This town is known as the birthplace of General Simeon Ola, the last Filipino General to surrender to the Americans after the Philippine-American War. Guinobatan is also famous for the rice cake with sweet macapuno fillings. The rice cake is locally called as "putong bigas." There are a lot of stalls selling this delicacy near the highway boundary marker of Guinobatan and Ligao.

Jovellar, Albay

The town of Jovellar is located in the province of Albay, Bicol Region. Jovellar major industry is agriculture. There are some nice destinations in Jovellar but majority of those are undeveloped. Some of the destinations to visit in Jovellar are the Naglaus Underground River in Barangay Del Rosario and the Quitinday Falls.

By Plane:

Cebu Pacific, Air Philippines and Zest Airways have several daily flights to Legazpi Airport. From Legazpi Airport, you can ride a taxi or a tricycle to the central terminal. From the central terminal, ride a van or a bus bound for Naga City, and then get off at crossing Guinobatan. The travel time from Legazpi City to Guinobatan crossing is about 30 to 45 minutes.  From Crossing Guinobatan or Guinobatan junction, ride a tricycle and tell the driver to drop you off at Jovellar-bound jeepney terminal near the public market.  The travel time is 5 to 10 minutes. From that terminal, ride a jeepney to Jovellar. The travel time from Guinobatan to Jovellar is 30 to 45 minutes.

You can also ride a jeepney from Legazpi City to Guinobatan town proper. And then look for the Jovellar-bound jeepney terminal located near the Guinobatan public market.

Castilla, Sorsogon Province

Castilla is a town located in the province of Sorsogon, Bicol Region. The town is the neighboring town of Sorsogon City, the capital of Sorsogon province. Castilla is a small town facing the Sorsogon Bay and one of the livelihoods in the town is related to the fishing industry. A famous tourist destination in Castilla is the Malawmawan Island, a private island located just a few minutes boat ride from Barangay Macalaya.

Bombon, Camarines Sur

The Municipality of Bombon is located in the province of Camarines Sur in the Bicol Region. Bombon is located north of Naga City and it is a 20 minute jeepney ride from Naga City Northbound Terminal. The town is famous for its Leaning Bell Tower and its old town church. The other tourist destination in the town of Bombon is the Casa Ofelia Resort located in Barangay Siembre, at the foot of the majestic Mt. Isarog.

Magarao, Camarines Sur

Magarao is a town located in the province of Camarines Sur, Bicol Region. The town is about 15 minute drive from Naga City. The town is famous for its parahilot. Individuals visiting Magarao seeks relief or cure for their body aches and pains, specifically “lapo” or dislocated bones and joints. Baao, Camarines Sur

Baao is a municipality located in the 5^th district of Camarines Sur province. Baao town is in Bicol Region. This town is famous for being the birth place of Bishop Jorge Barlin, the first Filipino bishop. There are only few destinations to visit in Baao because this town is mainly an agricultural town, however, this town is full of history. Baao is one of the oldest towns in the Philippines. Some of the notable people who were born in this town are Bishop Jorge Barlin, Luis Dato and Senator Joker Arroyo.

By Plane:

Cebu Pacific and Air Philippines have several daily flights to Naga Airport, which is locally known in Bicol as Pili Airport. The bus fare from Pili to Baao is 20 pesos. If you’re coming from Naga or Pili, you will be passing the forked road in Baao town going to downtown Baao and Iriga City. Just after the railroad crossing, turn left going to Iriga City, because if you turn right, that’s the road going to Nabua and Legazpi City.

Hinatuan, Surigao Del Sur

Hinatuan is a town located in the province of Surigao Del Sur, CARAGA Region. This town is famous for the Enchanted River, a river with crystal blue water.  Tourists are now flocking to this town to see the river with the bluest water in the Philippines.  The Enchanted River is located in Barangay Talisay, which is about an hour ride from the town center. There are also other tourist destinations near the Enchanted River. You can rent a boat for an island hopping trip to nearby islands.

By Plane:

There is an airport in Bislig City but there's only one airline flying to Bislig City. The route for the airline is Cebu to Bislig City and then Bislig City to Cebu. This is being serviced by Mid-SEA Express Airline. From Bislig City, ride a van or a bus bound for Hinatuan. The travel time is 1 to 1.5 hours.

Cebu Pacific and Air Philippines has a daily flight to Butuan City from Manila. It’s an hour and 20 minutes flight from Manila. From Butuan City, you can ride a bus or a van bound for Mangagoy, Bislig City and then tell the driver or the conductor to drop you off at Hinatuan town. The travel time is 5 to 6 hours. You can also ride a bus bound for Davao City, just be sure to get off at San Franz town. From San Franz, also known as San Francisco, ride a van or a bus bound for Hinatuan. The travel time from San Franz to Hinatuan is 1 to 1.5 hours.

From San Franz, also known as San Francisco, ride a van or a bus bound for Hinatuan. The travel time from San Franz to Hinatuan is 1 to 1.5 hours.

By Bus:

From Manila, you can ride a bus bound for Davao City. Tell the conductor or driver that you’re going to Hinatuan and tell them to drop you off at San Francisco or locally known as San Franz, Agusan Del Sur province. From San Franz, you can ride a bus or a van bound for Hinatuan or Mangagoy, Bislig City. The travel time from Manila to San Franz is about 27 to 37 hours. The travel time from San Franz to Hinatuan is 1 to 1.5 hours.

From Davao City, go to Ecoland Terminal and from there you can ride a bus bound for Mangagoy, Bislig City. Be sure to get off at Hinatuan. That’s the town before Bislig City. The travel time is 5 to 6 hours.

From Butuan City, you can ride a bus or van bound for Mangagoy, Bislig City. Get off at Hinatuan town. The travel time is 5 to 6 hours.

By Ship:

From Manila, you can ride a ship bound for Surigao City. The travel time is 24 to 32 hours. From Surigao City, ride a bus bound for Davao City and get off at San Franz, Agusan Del Sur. That’s about 5 to 6 hours of travel. From San Franz, ride a bus or a van bound for Hinatuan. The travel time is about 1 to 1.5 hours.
